Battle of Nash Farm (Sherman’s March)

My Great-grandmother’s (Granna) Mother was named Lilla Adams Speir and she was born in Henry County, Georgia, just south of Atlanta, right after the Civil War. Her parents were Alfred Lee Adams and Mary Perry Adams. They lived in the vicinity of Jonesborough and Lovejoy Station on the map below. They lived very close to the Nash Farm Battlefield where locals fought with Sherman’s troops.
